Physical Education
Physical Education is provided by a trained education specialist. Students are introduced to a variety of movement concepts and skill themes that are developmentally appropriate for each grade level.
Physical Education Goals:
The goal of our Physical Education Program is to provide students with content knowledge, appropriate skill instruction, and opportunities for students to exhibit development and showmanship of their learning in a positive environment of mutual sportsmanship. Our Physical Education Program emphasizes a commitment to promote an active lifestyle where healthy choices are a key factor in the desire of our students to be physically fit. Interscholastic Sports
Student athletes in the third, fourth, and fifth grades have the opportunity to participate in team sports. Egremont has a no cut policy at all levels, so students who wish to play are placed on the team. Egremont teams play in the VISA private school league.
