Egremont at a Glance
The Egremont facility accommodates girls and boys in Preschool through 5th grades. An independent, preparatory day school situated on a scenic 3-acre campus in the San Fernando Valley, the school's mission centers on academic excellence, inclusiveness, and community outreach. The school's landmark English architecture harkens back to the town of Egremont, England, where the school's founder, Margaret Bove, was born.
The present campus accommodates up to 240 students in the Preschool through 5th grades. The grounds afford five separate playground facilities which provide the various grade levels security and accountability. A safety-fenced swimming pool is located in the middle of the campus. Two classroom buildings with restroom facilities and a lecture hall are located in the northwest corner of the campus. The two-story main building accommodates the preschool and early-kindergarten classrooms, each with self-contained restrooms, a computer lab, library, kitchen, cafeteria, a multi-purpose gymnasium, administration offices, and a staff lounge. The entire campus enjoys video surveillance and a full-time security guard for the safety and protection of all members of the school community.
