Egremont educates a diverse and inclusive student body, respecting all members and honoring the individual character and spirit of each child.

Physical Education is provided by a trained education specialist. Students are introduced to a variety of movement concepts and skill themes that are developmentally appropriate for each grade level. Classes are held three times a week.

Interscholastic Sports

Student athletes in the fourth and fifth grade have the opportunity to participate in a team sports. Egremont has a no cut policy at all levels, so students who wish to play are placed on the team. Egremont teams play in the VISA private school league. This league is known for its sense of fair play and competitive nature. Interscholastic competition is offered in these sports:

  • Fall  Soccer
  • Winter   Basketball
  • Spring   Volleyball

Intramural Sports

Fourth and Fifth grade student athletes may participate in the intramural program. The competition is held during lunch recess. The sports offered are soccer, flag football, basketball, and softball. Trophies and certificates are awarded.
