tina_struve.jpegTina Struve brings a rich mix of professional experience as an administrator and educator to her position as Executive Director/Principal. She has been in the teaching profession for over nineteen years, ten of which have been as a member of the Egremont faculty. She is a graduate of Egremont, Class of 1982. Mrs. Struve received her Bachelor's degree in Law and Society with an emphasis in Criminal Justice (BA) from the University of California, Santa Barbara and her Master of Business Administration Degree with an emphasis in Organizational Behavior (MBA) from California Lutheran University. Additionally, she received teaching credential credits from California Lutheran University in the multiple subject teaching program. While at Egremont, she has been assigned numerous responsibilities. In recognition of her dedication and quality performance, she was appointed the role of Divisional Principal for grades 2-5 in the summer of 2009. Prior to her appointment, she served as Assistant Principal at Egremont for 5 years as well as a teacher for grade levels ranging from 5th through 8th grades. She was co-chair of the WASC Committee, Student Council moderator, the coordinator of the National Junior Honor Society, and a member of the Executive Council which oversees the operations of the Egremont organization. She has served as a visiting committee WASC member to evaluate school progress in the Los Angeles area. In addition to her role as a teacher and administrator, she is a proud Egremont parent. Her oldest daughter, Brittney, is a graduate of Egremont, and her two youngest children, James and Caroline, currently attend Egremont. Mrs. Struve's enthusiasm and passion for Egremont will be guiding forces in her motivation to transcend Egremont's current status to new heights.

 

 

linda_yarijanian.jpegMrs. Yarijanian first began her educational endeavors in the field of Psychology. She graduated from Dominguez Hills University with a Bachelor's Degree in this specific area. Her love for learning and working with children inspired her to become and advocate for abused minors and pursue her Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology. Throughout this time, Mrs. Yarijanian served as a promising Psychotherapist, working with youngsters who were in abusive circumstances. Upon working in this field for several months, she decided to combine her passion for teaching and psychology by changing her major to Education. She saw this as an opportunity to make a positive impact on young lives in an educational environment. As such, she obtained a Master's Degree in Education from Pepperdine University with an emphasis in Clinical Psychology. She began her teaching profession over twelve years ago, first working at a private Armenian school and then moving on to Egremont as an Early Kindergarten instructor. At the end of the first year, she was moved to the Kindergarten level where she served as a mentor teacher for the next four years. Mrs. Yarijanian was then given the position of Early Kindergarten Teacher / Director and served the next five years in that capacity. In recognition of her dedication to Egremont School, she was promoted to Assistant Principal and then assumed the title of Divisional Principal from grades Preschool through first in 2009. Throughout her employment, Mrs. Yarijanian has been involved in numerous educational and managerial aspects of Egremont School. These include the review and implementation of relevant academia in grades Preschool through first, planning the Early Kindergarten culmination as well as other school wide events, serving as a WASC Committee member and co-chairing a division within that committee, being involved in the Development Council and the Executive Council, which oversees all aspects of running the organization. Mrs. Yarijanian is a proud mother of a son and daughter who both received their educational foundation at Egremont School.
